Important Message from Withoutabox

Dear Withoutabox Customer,

On November 1st, our site experienced an outage which unfortunately resulted in the loss of data submitted from the afternoon of October 25th to the evening of November 2nd. If you modified your account or submitted a project during this time, we regret to inform you that you will need to resubmit this information.

We have failed to meet our standards for exceptional service and we deeply apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced as a result. We are taking the following steps to address the situation:

  • We will issue a refund to all customers who submitted a payment that was affected by the data loss. Please be assured that we have record of all transactions made during this time period and refunds will be processed as early as Tuesday, November 6, 2012. All transactions appearing in your Submission Status or on the Transactions page were unaffected and will remain intact. All festival services transactions appearing on the Statements page will also remain intact. Regretfully, any submissions and payments made during this time period that do not appear in your Withoutabox account will need to be resubmitted.
  • We will provide deadline waivers to all submitters affected by the data loss. If you have now missed a submission deadline as a result of this outage, please contact Filmmaker Support to obtain a deadline waiver.
  • We will assist festival services customers by providing deadline extensions for deadlines affected by the downtime. If you require assistance with extending a deadline, contact Festival Support
