rider + skier, becomes the centerpiece of this visual study of winter on the
high plains. Alongside the sport imagery are majestic, if not harsh, winter
landscapes, and signs of domestic life: horses, dogs and people. These
are woven in such a way that one begins to ponder the nature of human life
